Long time no see strangers! Don't say I didn't warn you about the lack of content updates! And though I would love to take all of the blame for lack of maintence and updates on myself; I'm afraid I'll have to share the shame with the rest of the Meltdown Staff. But, what do you expect? It's summer time! You shouldn't be sitting at home pining for Meltdown material! You should be camping, working outside, at the beach, fishing, drinking, biking, hiking, running, swimming, doing origami... whatever it is that you DO do that you complain about later when it starts raining.

Please note: my sentences are terribly sloppy and I am distracted with other things so pardon my vulgarity here - and my running on about things.

Okay, so we have a full upload this time around, except for the Erotic Literature page. This page and the Products page should be attended to on next weekends upload... And yes, there will be a next weekend upload because I have two new stories waiting to be submitted for erotic literature, and I've tossed together more product reviews for the ones that are listed but lacking actual review. Meh.

In the meantime we have a new Seed Project, new Scumbag Says, and a new Galleria addition. I have taken over the Comment Watch section and changed it to a better platform.... It's now referred to as The Grab Bag. I wanted to name it bastard child.... I would tell you why but my sense of humor sucks right now... I'm sure you understand.

ANYWAY.
Let's also not forget about The Fetishry!!! It's fairly self explanatory once you get there, but it's one hell of a concept... You buy an item (part of the proceeds go to keeping this web site alive), it gets sent to the lovely Miss Valyna, and she sends you something special in return... Alright so It's been an interesting few weeks to say the least. I, myself, have been captivated in things that needed my attention not pertaining to this website. There seems to be some popular opinion on exactly what or who is monopolizing my time these days... but I have chosen to keep that to myself.

This week I have a bunch of new updates.

First and foremost I would like to welcome Jack, our resident Dirty Old Man and Porn Watcher. He broke his Meltdown contribution cherry doing a review doing a Fetish porn, titled "5 doors to Ecstasy." You can catch it in our Porn Review Section now open to the public! Jack isn't as interactive as we'd like him to be on the chat boards, but he likes boobs so we like him.

Also new to the Meltdown is The Fetishry, It's fairly self-explanatory if you follow the link there. The Fetishry is a love child creation of H and his lovely lady Valyna. I would love to tell you more but I think I'll let the page do the talking. I will say that I have my Visa at the ready (as should you) once that Grand Opening occurs. And I would like to say that, in fact, this Fetishry does look to be fruitious as I have received my "thank you" after submitting to the inagaural "run through."

In closing, the normally updated content still applies. A new addition to the Galleria, the new Seed is in place, and Scumbag has graced us with another charming and well-put advice article. So lots of new things to look at and ponder.

I would have posted a new Comment Watch but Editor Shawn seems to have his head so far up his ass he doesn't know what day it is. Therefore, I may have a special addition Meltdown upload next week in his honor!

In the meantime I hope all will have a good week. I am off to the land of sand, sun, and inadequate voters - Florida. If anybody should need me I will not be answering email but If you make an extra attempt at kissing my ass via text I may entertain you. Who knows?

Just when you thought it was safe to come back to the website I began to feel much better and took my seat back at the helm :) - with new content.

That being said you can head over to the Galleria for a new submission. I know I promised a couple of weeks ago that I would put a 'surprise' up mid-week and, well, I didn't. I still didn't. But the poem I added to the Galleria is a treat (I think) and will find it's place in the Erotica section after its spotlight. Really, be sure to check it out :)

The News & Articles pages have been updated with all new content (a new Seed!) and I even posted the links to the Staff Bios! Of course, Scumbags and Thomcats are still unaccounted for but that too I am certain I'll get around to. Unless, Scumbag would like to write his own (please?).

EN is under the weather so I get to take over the helm for the next couple of weeks. I don't have anything submitted to me of any content besides a nice collaboration between Everything Nice and the lariat of lingo Helskel; normally their stuff goes without editing since it's fairly dead on but fuck I don't have the Erotica page template to publish so I'll put it here and hope that I get a call in the morning from EN telling me I'm a fucking loser (crosses fingers) for not requesting the template to publish it on.

In other news, let's get some staff members motivated:

Emma you owe us two more bios and an upgrade on the Staff Bios page so we can have a place to put them. You owe us the remaining product reviews and an addition to Agent because Helskel said so.

Helskel I hate bossing you around so I think I'll just make sure we are on the same page with next weeks Seed.

Okay so I updated quite a bit this weekend.... Be sure to check out the Galleria this week because I have two I would really love to publish this week. The first being Kitchen Kitten, the second being a surprise.

Also on the News and Articles page there is a new Scumbag Says (editor sat in for Scumbag), a new Seed, and a new Comment Watch which actually turned into an interview piece. It's worth checking out, as it seems the Editors comment watch is becoming.

There's a new Erotic Literature submission courtesy of Thomcat... and there is another one waiting to be published for that page as well that I've done.

I will be building Thomcat and Scumbags profiles this week (I've been either drunk or slacking so I'm a little behind on the profiles).

As you can imagine, not much was done to update the website over the weekend. Seeing that I had a birthday to contend with, Scumbag's knee-deep in Tornados, Shawn is recovering from this weekends schedule, and Helskel is basically waiting on me... Yep, not too much.

My thoughts will be with Scumbag, Tumbleweed, and all of our friends in Kansas and the midwest braving the fierce weather.... That is, when my thoughts aren't in the gutter.

I say in wake of our schedules we give reprieve and update this as we can throughout the week, next weekend at the latest. No worries, this place won't go black any time soon... because then, well... I guess we'd never go back.

Speaking of in the gutter :)

I'd just like to take a minute to thank all of my friends near and far for the fantastic birthday, I don't think I could have asked for a better way to celebrate being one day closer to attractive to all of those gerontophobe fans!

Even more so, thanks for the years of support you've provided to me - whether it be in pursuit of writing, intellectual stimuli, a heart tug, or a quickie in the back room. I wouldn't be the person I am without you.

That being said, it's time for me to post this litte message and get to work on the rest of my birthday bottle. I hope the best for you all in the coming week and hope that wherever it is you hang your hat.... Please let it be in my bedroom.

It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon and I admit I had much to do today outside; which means I had little quiet time that was reserved for updating this site this week.

Thanks to Scumbag and the Editor for getting the Comment Watch and Scumbag Says pages updated :) I actually gave Helskel time off and opted to participate in The Seed this week as the recipient but I was not happy with what evolved so I'm a bit shy to share. In other news I finished our Editors BIO remaining as general specific as possible, and I'm off to try and put together Scumbags... Though something tells me his will be nothing more than "I'm a fucking jerk." Seriously, how do you describe somebody like Scumbag much less write a bio?

Anyway, the Galleria is again updated thanks to Valyna who sent in a ton of wonderful and inspiring pictures for us to publish. I will be adding a ton of those in the next couple of weeks, and if all goes well and weather is shitty next weekend I will be sure to upload some content for the product reviews and erotic literature pages.
